As the title says: if you could choose any (living) musician to form a band, who would they be? Mine would be for a huge symphonic metal oriented band (verging on power-sympho): Male Vocals: Roy Khan (Kamelot) as a lead; Fernando Ribeiro (Moonspell) as grunt/backing Female Vocals: Tarja Turunen (ex-Nightwish) and Liv Kristine (Leaves Eyes). Lead or backing each in turn according to the vocal lines Guitar: Christofer Johnsson (Therion) Bass: Tom Saxer (Elis) Keys: Philipp Groth (Qntal) Drums: Casey Grillo (Kamelot) Violin (we are talking about Symphonic metal aren't we?): Daniela Nipp (Weltenbrand) |

Female Vocals - Tarja Male vocals - Geoff Tate - Queensryche Growler Shagwrath - Dimmu Borgir Guitar Gary Moore and Brian May Bass Marco Heitela NWish Tarot Drums Tommy Lee Motley Crue Keyboards Thuomas Holapinen Choir Dark Whispers Choir  I`ve tried to get as many as pos in my band. Male vocals : Fabio Lione (Rhapsody of Fire, and Kamelot ? ^^) Female Vocals: Helena Iren Michaelsen (Imperia, ex-Trail of Tears) and Floor Jansen (Revamp, ex-After Forever). Tarja, Liv Kristine and Melissa Ferlaak do the femal choir ! Guitars:Isaac Delahay (Epica) and Jan Örkki Yrlund (Imperia, 1st album of Delain,...) Soli by Luca Turilli (R. of Fire) Bass: Doug Wimbish (Tarja and many others, he's really impressive!) Keys: Joost van den Broek (After Forever) Drums: Mike Terrana (Tarja) And Keys do the violin ^^ |

Oh, actually, I'm really lucky, because I already have the dream line up... it's just -huh- Whyzdom  I would just add, since no one thought about mentioning it : The London Philharmonic Orchestra !!!  Ok, if they're not available, the Berliner will be ok

To be really honest, conducting a real orchestra is part of my dreams... though I'm pretty sure I'm not qualified to to it - even conducting small choirs is difficult to me ! |
